Cleaning your dryer vent is extremely important! If your dryer vent is not cleaned regularly, your clothing could take much longer to dry and can be a fire hazard. 😬
To clean your dryer vent, you will first need to remove the vent screen. It can be found inside the door of your dryer or on top of the machine depending on what type of machine you have.
Pull the vent screen out and remove all built up lint.
To get a deeper clean, take your vacuum hose and vacuum out the vent inside your dryer with an attachment.
Don't forget about the vent in the back! It's an easy removal. All you will need is a screwdriver to loosen the attachment that holds the dryer hose onto the machine. Once it is removed, you can vacuum out the hose with an attachment. Put back in place and tighten the ring around the hose with the screwdriver.
Your clothes will dry much faster and the risk of a fire hazard is dramatically reduced! Go you!
